Well that depends, who are you, the juvenile or the parent.
And again why do you want to. Are you going to hire your own private attorney, do you want another public defender.

You can request to the judge for a new attorney, Now of course with that you will have to give them cause for such action.
And it will have to not appear to be a action merely to stall the process

You're a little vague about what he did and how he ended up in jail. Could you be a little more specific so someone here can try and help you?

Is he in jail awaiting trial, is so, on what charge, and if so there will be bail set, he merely has to come up with the money to get out on bail.

If he has been sentenced, then he is serving his time and will not be able to get out.

Sorry he can not get out just to be with you at the birth of your child, there are 1000's of babies born each month with their fathers in jail or prison.

I've merged your threads. Is it your husband or son in trouble or both of them?

Are you not in court with your son when the judge rules things ?

And I will assume you are a parent with custody.
But you will have to address this to the judge. The court appoints the attorney to represent the rights of the child,

She said she was pregnant "with OUR first child" which could mean the son in trouble was from a previous relationship.
