    Shower drain position
I have a rough in bathroom in my basement and was looking at the drain dimensions when I noticed it is only 12" off the concrete wall. Just wondering if I need to frame off that wall or and if I do the drain for the shower, which is 12" of the base to center, will not line up. Any input would be great. Thanks.

I'm a little unsure of exactly what you're installing. If it's going to be a custom tile shower you're good to go with framing out the wall. My tile shower has the drain centered next to the back wall. However, if you have a manufactured shower base in mind you will have to take up the floor and move the trap and raiser to accommodate the base. Good luck, Tom
