It always seems that those that wish for a "judgement day" to come soon are those having a crappy life. That they want everyone else to die as well is a scary thought.

Actually that was my mistake for thinking you would do some research and come up with a logical counter argument.

    Well here it is :

John McCain's Charitable Contributions—By Ken Silverstein (Harper's Magazine)

If you read it - you will understand why I wrote what I wrote.

    Sorry for overestimating you :D

I am talking about the average US American who often let it be known that he is a Christian and proud of that.
But unlike Mc Cain's hypothetical "Joe the plumber" most real Joe's are only talking about the Christian virtues, but are not wellknown for holding to these themselves !!!

With 300+ million inhabitants the chance that at least one plumber indeed is called Joe is nearly 100%. So sure, Joe the plumber does exist.
But that Joe does not represent the AVERAGE US American.
Neither does he represent the AVERAGE US employer / entrepreneur.

So : "McCain's "Joe the plumber" is a hypothetical person.
Unlike the average US person who is so proud to call him/herself Christian, but fails to show that in his/her deeds.
