    Where to recycle cartridges
I have two printers in my house, a Brother and a Canon. I used to take my cartridges to Petsmart and dropped them in a mailer, with the purpose that they would get recycled and Petsmart charities would get something. Now they tell me that the company that does that project doesn't accept either printer's cartridges. Boo!
I go to Office Depot, where they'll give me $3.00 coupons for returning used cartridges. I'm thinking with big pile o'cartridges at home, "Ka-Ching!" But again, Brother, Canon and others Verboten! I don't want to just throw them out, because I understand that there might be issues about pollution, and I would have rather seen them go to a charity or something. What can I do?

I use Planet Green. They provide collection boxes, free pre-paid shipping labels and they pay for many more cartridges than Staples or Office Depot. Plus, they pay in a check, not merchandise. They also pay for cell phones and their price lists are online all the time. They pay between .05 cents and $5 dollars. But if your cartridges aren't on the list (most Brothers aren't) they'll recycle them for you anyway, as long as you have at least 20 cartridges that ARE on the list. Go to: Planet Green - Recycle printer cartridges and cell phones. Raise money for schools, non-profits, churches and more. Planet Green is your fundraising solution.

It is a good site, and I am going to tell my Student Government Advisor about it, but my cartridges are still not in there. Boo. If I could get an easy way to refill the color cartridges on the canon BC-24, I'd just recycle them at home.

Delta faucet cartridges . [ 1 Answers ]

I recently replaced both of the seat cartridges in our lavatory faucet. They work fine now and don't leak anymore. But during the past few weeks they have become more hard to turn on and off.
