    bellhaven ceiling fan wiring issue
    I bought a bellhaven ceiling fan harbor breeze and am trying to install a remote wall switch. Before all this remote business, I had the fan working fine with pull chains. From my ceiling box I have a red, black, white and green wire. I need to connect it to the remote which has three wires, a white, black and green. The opposite side of remote has white,black and blue which I have connected to the fans white black and blue cables. Help me connect the ceiling to the remote please. Which colors to which?

    ceiling box=white, black, red, green
    remote=white, black and green

    thank you for your time.

    Something I must add. I have researched other threads, have already tried connecting white from ceiling to white on remote and black OR red from ceiling to black on remote. No dice. Occasionaly will get the light to turn off from wall remote, but unable to turn it on.

    That should work. You have the other three wires connected to the three fan wires, the pullchains to high and the wall switches on?
