    Pa Judgements and Liens.
A creditor won a judgement against me in 5/08.
Now in 9/08 they are threatening sheriff sale.
I do NOT own anything at all, because I lost my livilyhood and everything do to
Illness. I have No income except, disability.
Here is my question. A friend of mine(no relation), wants to help me out to get
To the doctors, and told me that she is willing to put me onto the title of an old car she owns. It would be in both names, not just mine.
Can they still sheriff that car, even so it is not only in my name, but also a none relative?
    Thank you.

I would not put my name on anything. If disability is your only income, you should let your bank now that the only money in your account is from social security because that money can not be touched by a credtior. Why not just let your friend take you to your appts or simply let you use the car rather than putting your name on the title?

Great Site! I want to make sure I understand posts I have read on this subject. Before a credit card co. can place a lien on property they need to go to court and get a judgement. Is this correct? Thank you for all the information contained on this site. James
