Also, how many points is F3 grand theft and if this crime is their first crime in this state and occurred prior to another felony conviction in another state, how does that affect the situation.

As far as a criminal record in another State, it will be factored in.

As I said in the other post about Florida points, this is all determined at the time of sentencing. The person's attorney will review the points with him and explain what his sentencing guidelines will be and what sort of prison time he is looking at.
