With the way you're thinking, your relationship probably is not lasting. You can't base it on a guy that gives you attention or things, it won't last. Like I've said- you need a foundation based on FRIENDSHIP, so when the mushy drama of a relationship comes your way, you aren't left with nothing when things get stressfull for the two of you. What does he do that makes you not like him?

Be honest with the guy, and tell him to slow down, if he gets too carried away.

You've only been dating a week. If you're just not feeling him or you're feeling uncomfortable, tell him.

After only a week, you don't need to do anything yet. Pick a place for lunch on Saturday. That's a good thing.

1 week in and you're already having doubts, not very good. Talk to him and tell him how you feel and go from there

Thanks 4 all the advice everyone me and my boy friend are still together and its still "rough" in my opinion. Its only been like 2 weeks and he already says he loves me I want to tell him we are moving to fast but its so hard. When I'm with him its like I want to be some where else but when the weekend comes its like I can't wait to see him. Im so confused. If I break up with him I no I'll regret it, but if I keep going out with him and don't feel the same way I'll just be stringing him along. And I don't want to hurt him. What should I do?

How about expressing yourself honestly, and see what type of feedback you get. Its called communications, and it made for these types of situations.
