I am a 35 yr old lady, a british citizen, I married this man of a different nationality brought him to the uk to find that his parents are living here illegally who created so much of problems for me and my child until I decided to move away from them as I had come here in uk to start a new life , I am currnetly holding a british citizen passport and than after 2 years my husband gained his indefinaite leave to remain in uk through me on which I had signed the SET M forms under pressure as he had conditoned me that my daughter would return back with him if I did not sign on the forms I had no option but to sign, then the sooner he got his indefinite leave to remain he apllied for a divorce, we are divorced now as I saw no point of living with a person who abused me severally, and his intention was to stay with his illegal parents.Which he is doing now. Is there any law for people who gain there stay through deception. I also have proof that during my contact with the homeoffice , he managed to pull out some confidential paper work which belongs to the Home-Office illegally which are under my possession at the moment . Please let me know what I can do for the inhuman treatment I received and with all the injustice that has been done to me so far. Please note that we are now divorced and my child is with me all I need to know if anything can be done to revoke his status, as I have solid proof of his parents NHS fake identity, the letter illegally removed from the homeoffice and also the domestic violence reports and my gp reports if necessary during the time he violated and beat me up. Please help me.

You should not sign when he removed his condition. Being a mother, if you decide to file a divorce before he removes his condition, you would win a child custody battle easily. You can't do much at this point... but you can still go back to the court and request for re-open the case for child custody, if you wish.

If he had abused you physically and you have proof such as police report or medical report, report this matter to the police. You can still do it even the abuse occurred last year.

If you have solid evidence that he illegally obtained from Home Office, report this issue to the police ASAP. This is very important as lies, frauds, etc. in order to obtain immigration benefits means deportation only.
