    Standing seam metal roof
    I am having a standing seam metal roof installed over an asphalt roof. There is a dormer in the roof that has cedar claboard siding. Do I need to remove the cedar from the dormer to get a wide flashing applied? Cedar is very brittle and probably will not be able to be reused.

    Thanks for the advice;
