    Bristol Vent check
    A friend has a trailer and has a musking smell under her cabinets. Can a Bristol vent malfuntion and let sewer gases enter.

    This is a mechanical vent,(see image) used in trailers and RV's. Any mechanical fixture can fail. They are inexpensive so why not simply replace it? Good luck, Tom
