    Motor for fireplace blower
I have an old (~15 yrs I guess) fireplace blower system made by Diamond W Products. The blower motor burned out and I'm trying to find an equivalent replacement.
Talked to Diamond W and they discontinued this product line 6 yrs ago (yes, due to problems with the motor).
The motor is rated as: 1/60 hp, 115V, 60 Hz, 6 Amps, 3000 rpm.
Its going to be inside the firplace, so it needs to be thermally protected.
Thanks for any thoughts or advise !:)

Eupho, I had a similar problem with my old fireplace, I found a blower motor that worked at the local appliance parts store. In my case the motor that worked was the evap fan motor from a frig. Good luck
