Puppy requirements
Hi! I have two puppies from the same litter, cross of min pin and russian toy terrier! I'm just wondering.. they fight a lot! I understand they're playing.. but they chew on each other real bad! And they also whine sometimes, when one's attacking the other! And also, when I looked this up online, I learnt that it's not a good idea to keep them in a apartment, but I live in an apartment! Soo.. what should I do? They're both a month and a week old BTW.. And also.. is it normal for them to want to bite your hands and clothes all the time? As in, chewing? Help!

They are puppies and they are teething, they need to chew because they are growing they're teeth, I would suggest that you get a few toys for them, so they do have something to chew on instead of each other and you. Also any dog can addapt to living in apartments, just remember they need lots of exercise, rule, boundaries and limitations, if they receive these things they will be healthy, happy little dogs.

They're learning to use their teeth so they chew on anything that comes near their mouth.
They play fight because they that's how they play. As long as they don't draw blood, don't be concerned, let them be puppies.
If they are from the same litter, one will be the dominant one---it will be either one; often it's the female if they are different gender.
Don't chastise if the bigger male is being put down by his smaller sister... its just the natural way siblings act.

Puppies are at a critical stage where they need to be socialized, especially with their siblings. It is good that they are yelping and whining while playing, because this is teaching them both boundaries. A lot of dogs once they are older can hurt children, and other dogs, and in turn be hurt or even put down because they weren't properly socialized as puppies and didn't learn the critical boundaries this teaches them. Also, don't worry too much about biting each others faces, and paws, this is an act of submission for puppies, they are figuring out who is the dominate and who is the pack follower, also critical for puppies to learn.
When it comes to them being mouthy with humans it is very important that you show them that is NOT an okay act. I personally with my dogs would yelp very loud to scare them, and show them it wasn't okay, then I would entice them with a chew toy, and praise them when they would mouth that. It depends on your training style, some will spank bottoms and say no... different strokes for different folks. You should look into taking them to puppy fundamental classes once they are at the age where they are allowed in. It is a good bonding experience, and makes all puppies much easier to handle.
All dogs need exercise, some more than others. If you have a breed that needs a lot of exercise then just take them on bike rides and walks. I don't think that a living situation should hold you back from owning any breed as long as they are staying healthy and happy, but that's your responsibility that should be assumed before deciding to get a dog.
Good luck!
