If I was to go out in the night but had stayed home that morning. Should I moisturize my face when I wake up and then just leave it as that in the night and apply make-up? Or re-apply moisturizer before the make up again?
Should I then put more moisturizer on after I come back home.

You are making it sound too complicated. Moisturizer should go on after you wash your face, no matter what time day or night.
