    Violation of Probation
I was on Probation and the time of probation elapsed. There was still the issue of fines to be paid. I have not paid them in full and therefore I have been violated. I wish to pay them without having to be incarcerated. How can I pay the fine in full without being ioncarcerated?

You will have to talk this over with your Probation Officer. The fines should have been paid prior to the end of your probation period. The fact they were not paid, the PO had the option to violate you as that was a condition of your probation to have the fines paid in full prior to the ending of probation.

You knew you couldn't pay the fine in full before your probation was to end, why did you wait until you were violated? You could have sat down and talked it over with your PO and you probably could have gotten a few months more probation in which to pay off your fine and then you would have been able to be terminated from your probation.

Now, you are facing possible jail time due to the nonpayment in full of the fines. Did you think they were just going to let you off probation and worry about you paying the rest of the fine off when you "got around to it"? Not in the real world would that scenerio fly. Sorry.

You go to the Courthouse where you were sentenced (assuming that's where you were to pay the fines), money in hand, and pay the fines IN FULL.

Do you know if a warrant has been issued for your arrest for failing to complete probation?

EDIT: Agree also with Twinkie - we posted at exactly the same minute.
