    Radio waves travel at a speed of light, approximately 186000 miles per second. How long does it take for a radio message to travel from earth to the moon and back?

    Hello yasina

    Well, the average distance from Earth to the moon is 384.000 km.
    With the lightspeed being 300.000 km/sec, it takes a radio signal 1,28 second to travel one-way, and therefore 2,56 seconds to return back to earth.
