I have done that before and he threaten to flush it down the toilet and he is the type of guys to do it also. I didn't want it back after he and I made up. I just think that when the time is right it will happen. Maybe he wants you to be worried that you won't get it back. But if he really loves you he will.maybe not today or next week but it is meant for u.

It's a big read flag you let him manipulate you with a ring. You need to disappear, and reevaluate this relationship. Just my thoughts.

I thin everyone's answers are right. He is probably not giving it back to you for a while because you took it off and through it. My boyfriend and I have fought before plenty of times and I have started to take my ring and locket off. (my locket he bought me our first year together is more sentimental than anything) But he always told me if I give it to him while we are fighting he'll flush it down the toilet so I never did. Everyone argues it's a normal thing for human beings. He just needs some time to get his thoughts together. He will probably give it back to you at the right time when both of you have settled back down.
