    Fair price for surgery in LA
    My cat must have her spleen removed. Mast cells are present.
    Price range boggles my brain. Would like some viewpoints. Is the most expensive always the best? Just wondering what is reasonable. Thanks for your thoughts.

    The first thing I would do would be visit several vets and get all prices and information on what the surgery involved, recovery time, etc.

    Keep in mind that this is not a routine surgery, either, so you want to know how many of these operations the vet has done, and what their experience with it is.
