On my home's second floor, I have a bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower stall. Whenever I run water in the sink, the sound of draining water can be heard from the shower's drain. This is new - should I be concerned? Thnaks in advance.

Various issues to deal with here, I think. Just moved into a 1 1/2 storey duplex. When draining the kitchen sink, the bathroom sink fills up with waste water and both drain very slowly.
