Remote control interferes operates two fans
I have a ceiling fan in my living room that operates with a remote. I have on in my bedroom also that operates with a remote. When I use the fan to operate the living room fan, it also makes the bedroom fan go! I think it must have something to do with the frequency setting. Can I change that? And if so, how? Thanks

There is typically a DIP switch under the battery in the remote and a corresponding DIP switch in the canopy receiver. They should be set to the same value, but different to the other fan. Change the DIP switch settings and recycle power.

Yes, change the dip switches so each fan's matches it's individual remote, but not the other.
