98 civic decelerates then jumps by touching accelerator manual transmission
My 98 Civic with 117,000 km on it suddenly decelerates like it is not getting much gas and then as I gently press the accelerator it jerks ahead 2 or 3 times (as if in first gear) and then settles down. Happens every 5 minutes or so once it start doing this on a trip.
It happens usually when engine is fully heated up but sometimes when it is cold. It happens at 80 Km per hour or 40 Km per hour. This has aa 5 speed manual transmission.
    Thank you
