I was physically, mentally and verbally bullied by another girl at my school, for pretty much my whole school life. I completely hated it, I had even got to the point where I was about to leave all my friends behind and move as far away as I could.
It took the whole 5 years at the school to realise that it wasn't my fault, the girl was completely messed up. I didn't understand what her problem was.
At first it started that she would shout rude comments at me. I shouted things back making me just as bad- this was my mistake. After that, it got to the stage where she would physically beat me. My parents had the poice involved and everything. The school just refused to expel her even after she had beaten me several times.
(At this point I realised that I couldn't do anything about her apart from try to defend myself when being beaten by her). My teachers wouldn't do anything either, I begged one of my teachers, he was the most supportive teacher I could have asked for. He had me moved into different classes to her, this helped so much. After the teachers moved me there was no beatings but she continued to shout and throw things until the day we left school.
For 5 whole years this girl made me feel like something off you sole of your shoe. I was pretty sure that by the end of school she would have grown up and seen a way to at least apologise to me.
Weeks after we left school we had a late afterball party on the local beach, I didn't attend because I had work. That night she and her boyfriend murdered a man and filmed it on her mobile phone. The next morning the police were at her doorstep, her house was raided because she and her sister had been drug dealing, she was taken to the police station in question of the murder, they found the video footage on her phone. She was charged with manslaughter. I had constantly felt sick after I had heard the news, my friends went into great detail about how she had killed the man. I just didn't know what to say. I don't care for the girl at all, the only thing I could think about was could it have been me if I had been there at the party.

I'm pretty sure I know where I went wrong with this girl. I think it also comes down to the fact that she was pretty messed up. If anyone is in need of advise about bully, then there are people you can talk to.
Any advise to other children about bulling or stories/situations you would like to share are more than welcome.

That is a good story of a bully that went the extreme. Kids always think it is them that has the problem when they are bullied but it is true that the bully has the problems and issues.
Unfortunately many adults do not see it as a problem they want to get involved in and take it lightly or even deny it is happening. They don't realize that when they turn their heads to it they are often enabling the bully to grow up a ruthless criminal

Thanks, I was pretty unfortunate to have been the one to have met her. But there's only so much you can do about somebody like her x

Not only does it fuel the bully to get back at her for reporting it it also can make it worse because when the adults treat it like oh well it is just a kid thing and don't do anything to stop it the bully realizes they can get away with it and more so it does get worse.

Yeh, I agree that can sometimes happen. But when your young it just feels so good to tell someone you think can help you. It's like seeing the sun when it's been cloudy for months lol. (Sorry the only comparison I can think of) I just think that you have to deal with it in lots of different ways depending on how the people/person reacts. X

I'm very sorry if this sounds childish or immature, but as a martial artist I've always been bullied since a kid throughout high school until gr.10 when I jabbed a guy in both eyes and got arrested for it. I'm not saying for anyone to do the same, but sometimes bullys JUST HAVE TO GET IT because ENUFF IS ENUFF. Cause most of the time counselors did not do sh*t for me, not to be pessimistic but I'm being honest.

Actually I'm anticipating a lot of bullying by this particular girl and her "crew", toward my daughter this year, because of an incident that happened between the bully's mom and myself. This girl has been heard as of saying that she's looking forward to ruining my daughter's life at school this year. I was thinking of putting my child in a self defense class, as a means of empowerment. Just so my child can feel physically strong, (as she already claims to not be worried about the bully emotionally). My daughter is pretty tough, but when she sees how popular this girl is, with all the peer support she'll be getting... it's may change my daughter's tough perception. My daughter is more the cerebral type rather than the physical type... so self defense sounds interesting as an option, thanks denneh!
