    Pre-paid attorneys
Hey there, I'm looking to move out of state with my child. I will have a custody battle with her dad-which we were never married and no courts or previous custody has been in place- now I don't have much money for lawyer but I have been looking into it over the internet and found a bunch of sites for prepaid lawyers. Its like a family law site where they hook you up with lawyers in your area for a monthly fee. Has anyone worked with this or what do you think about these places. I guess they do everything -prepare all documents and possibly even keep you out of court but if you do have to go, they will go with you but for an extra fee but they say they usually take care of this out of court and do to my issue, there shouldn't be a big problem. Would you recommend using this? Do u think its all good? Thanks

Prepaid legal services will do a free will for you, and you can call and ask them questions over the phone, ** normally they will call you back within a couple hours.

They do not represent you in court free, they do not file paper work for you free. You pay a set rate or a percent discount rate of their standard fee. Now if there is no attorney in your town, the charge for travel will eat it up. Normally you can shop around for a local attorney and find one cheaper for actual court work. These service do not provide free service for anything but the will and some phone call services.

Would make sense to combine this with the other post to get a better picture of the circumstances, what legal work will be involved.
