Circulators run, BUT furnace doesn't fire
I have baseboard hot water, with and oil burner. When there is a call for hot water, the circulators run, but there is no start of the electrodes, burner motor or anything else. Not even an attempt to start. The reset button is not tripped on the Primary. Could it be the Limit control?

The burner is not getting power. Take a meter and trace down the missing electric power to the burner. It is possible a limit control went bad but you will never know for sure unless you check for power first.

Just installed the new Limit Control (about 10 minutes) I can now take a shower with hot water and my family loves me once again!
