    I messed up my hair!
    Hello,
I need to know how to fade a semi-permanent color ASAP-I am interviewing all week.

OK-I applied a mix of 9NG and 10NG semi-perm colors. The color of my hair before I applied it was an over-processed almost platinum blonde. Well, my hair sucked the color right up (processed 12 mins) and it's very dark and muddy. It looks more like a medium/dark blonde than the light/very light I was hoping for. I washed twice with Dawn, deep conditioned, and it's still grayish. Will sitting in the sun help any?

I used Wella Color Charm Semi in 10NG/9NG. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you,
    Stefanie

Have you used a deep cleansing shampoo? Using it a few times you'll notice some difference in fading it.

... Yes, I just sat for 45 minutes with Prell on my hair [didn't know they still made that], and now I'm sitting with a hot oil treatment on. It looked a little lighter when I rinsed.

Thank you... I will keep using a clarifying shampoo.

Go to a salon and have a professional re-color your hair.

Put some baking soda in your shampoo and cover it with a plastic cap... then use your hair dryer to provide some heat for 10 minutes... don't use the hot oil, it does nothing for you hair... get a good conditioner...
