IM a saleried Manager and I want to put my 2 weeks notice in
Hello I am a Salaried manager at a retail store, and I am considering putting in my two weeks notice and I want to finish out my last two weeks, my question is that they have already posted my schedule through the two weeks, if I put in my two weeks notice and they just decide to let me go then would I still get paid my salary for the schedule that has been written and posted? ( I live in california)

I'm not really sure I understand your question. So, you want to put in two weeks notice, and you schedule is already posted for that two weeks? Okay, what's the problem? When you give a two weeks notice, it means that you are working those two weeks, but they are your last, and yes, they will pay you for that. Or are you asking if you put in your two weeks notice, and they tell you to leave that day, will you get paid for that two weeks? No, you're not working, so you wouldn't get paid unless they have some sort of severance package, or that it worked out with a higher up.

    Hello m:

No. They may let you go right away, in which case you'll only be entitled to the time you worked. Posting the schedule has nothing to do with their obligation.

Yes, depending on that stores policy they may ask for you to clear your desk out and leave at the time you give notice, that is the risk you take, most places that do that will pay for your two week notice, others will not.
But if you don't give notice it looks very bad on you, esp as a management person
