    Trane XE1000- won't cool, blows,
Manufactured in 2000, 40 rated fuse outside next to unit, 45 at main power box, won't cool, hear light buzz or hum from external unit, I can replace anything needs replacing on the outside, on a budget, need to know what to trouble shoot, seems fuses are good.

Check the fuses with a meter or replace with known good ones.

The contactor in the unit is probably the buzz you hear so the 24 volt low voltage control circuit is working.

Check inside of the outside unit for loose wires and check the compressor terminals to be sure one did not burn off or come loose.

    Just or starters.
