I need iconic figures to make a cartoon out of
I'm the illustrator for UCSC's newspaper and our mascot is the banana slug. I've decided to make a series of images of the slug as different iconic characters. So far I have "Dracuslug" and "The Slugga Lisa". I need more ideas- can anyone help me?

Thanks Clough. I love Frankenslug, but I think BushSlug doesn't have a good ring to it.

"SuperSlug"?? Red cape and superman shaped emblem... perhaps too simplistic?

    "IncrediSlug" Huge, Green and all??

"Sundace Slug" or "The Marlboro Slug" for a western character??
(Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Slug)

    "Edward ScissorSlug"??

Maybe you could post some of them, so we can enjoy. Let me direct you to a wonderful thread that you could post them on. Not that you could not post them on this one... but that thread gets a lot of views, it kind of like going to the gallery. :)https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/art/wh...ou-195593.html
Well there is another one but for the life of me I can't find it, it has the artist indexed. Very nice. Hopefully someone will come along and post it.

Banana slug - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I didn't know what a banana slug was so I looked it up.

I also took a look at the mascot slug... very cute Who is Sammy Slug? A look behind the yellow veil

To me he looks like he could use a cowboy hat, spurs, ride a horse and be "slug on the range" Where the professors and students all roam, where seldom is heard a discouraging word and the life is lovely every day. Home, home with a slug, where everbody feels loved.

I believe I'll stop now, I'm getting out of hand.
