    Child 2yrs old, Constipation issues
    Hi all!

My youngest daughter is having constipation problems for the past two weeks, ever since her nanny went for a one-month holiday.

She previously had constipation problems before, but we had settled that with a change in her diet plus probiotics supplements.

Now, we have to use the insertion of lubricants method (either the milder "cooking oil" method or if necessary, the medication method). Is it me, or is she "retaliating" for missing her nanny?

It is possible for a child to feel out of control of a situation i.e. the nanny leaving, and by refusing to go to the toilet she's trying to regain some control.
If her nanny is coming back soon leave her, if not try syrup of figs or take her to a doctor

What is her diet like? Does she get enough fruits, and fiber? How about her fluid intake? Is it adequate?
