Wiring a 6 wire house to a five connector thermostat

Yeah I have tried most of the solutions I have read about on several of these pages, yet no luck.

I have determined that the Blue, Yellow, Orange, Red, White wires go to the AC and
Additionally the Green, Red, White, Blue wires go to the Furnace.

So... how should I connect a five wire programmable thermostat?

    Does anyone have a clue?

    Thanks.

You did not give us the info on the new thermostat so its hard to say. It looks from the pic you sent you have a heat pump. You will need a heat pump thermostat that will energise the reversing valve in the cooling mode for it to work.
