    Lennox thermostat with Honeywell RTH7400
Replaceing Lennox thermostat with Honeywell RTH7400

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------IF I CONNECT THE O THEN WHERE WILL THE W1 GO--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I am replaceing a Lennox 51H4001 with a universal Honeywell RTH7400 5-1-1 thermostat.

The wires from the old thermostat were labeled C, G, Y1, W1, O, RH

The replacement thermostat has the w1 and the o going to the same place - I connected w1 and taped off the o.

    HONEYWELL THERMOSTAT WIRING

    C ---------- W2/AUX
    G ---------- Y2/E
    Y ---------- L
    O/B/W
    RC
    R

The R and RC are connected to each other and I connected RH to R

The directions did not give an alternate wiring example for a O wire and a W1

This is for a Lennox Elite Series Mod# HP26-048-7P Heat Pump

The heat is working fine but the air is not.

Could someone please help with the correct wiring instructions for this unit.

    Thank You

I DID READ THE INSTRUCTIONS -

    Page 11 does not show a w1 and o - neither does page 12

If the instructions were clear in the book I wouldn't be on here trying to figure it out

The instructions show both wires going to the same location in different wiring examples - and page 11 is for conv. Systems not heat pumps - heat pump is on pg 12
