    Replaceing Lennox thermostat with Honeywell RTH7400
    I am replaceing a Lennox 51H4001 with a universal Honeywell RTH7400 5-1-1 thermostat.

    The wires from the old thermostat were labeled C, G, Y1, W1, O, RH

    The replacement thermostat has the w1 and the o going to the same place - I connected w1 and taped off the o.

    HONEYWELL THERMOSTAT WIRING

    C ---------- W2/AUX
    G ---------- Y2/E
    Y ---------- L
    O/B/W
    RC
    R

    The R and RC are connected to each other and I connected RH to R

    The directions did not give an alternate wiring example for a O wire and a W1

    This is for a Lennox Elite Series Mod# HP26-048-7P Heat Pump

    The heat is working fine but the air is not.

    Could someone please help with the correct wiring instructions for this unit.

    I DID READ THE INSTRUCTIONS -

    Page 11 does not show a w1 and o - neither does page 12

    If the instructions were clear in the book I wouldn't be on here trying to figure it out

    The instructions show both wires going to the same location in different wiring examples - and page 11 is for conv. Systems not heat pumps - heat pump is on pg 12

    Read page 11 it is all there. Looks like you have to connect the C wire since you do not have 2 of them. You also have to set options pages 18,19,20. That will take care of the O problem. If to complicated I suggest ON SITE professional help. Incorrect wiring can damage the thermostat and the equipment.

    READ and FOLLOW directions

    Page 12 alternative wiring

    READ triangle 3
    Read triangle 6
    This is where you are supposed to connect O/B and W1.

    It is all in the book.

    YOU have to set up the Thermostat before it will kick in and work right.

    SEE pages 16.17.18.19.20.21.22.23.24.25 to set the thermostat up for your system.

    It is all in the book as I have said before.

    I did read your question you just did not look at what the book said.

    I have wired hundreds of thermostats. If you cannot figure it out call for on site help. Sorry but I can be of no further assistance.
