    I would like to follow this question up.
    So install a 20 amp circuit with a 20A outlet, but split the outlet into 2 with one for the diswasher and the second would go to the disposal switch to turn on this portion for the disposal?

    See my reply in the other thread.

    When you split the receptacle, break ONLY the tab between the hot (gold) screws. Do NOT break the tab between the silver screws.
