    Rinse cycle overflow
When my washing machine is on the rinse cycle, water backs up in the splash pan.
I've used draino. Nothing works. What do I do now?

    Hey Nettal:

You need to go to a local rental store and rent a small hand held electric snake with 1/4" cable or the larger, medium electric snake with 3/8" cable... see pics. Below.

Then you can snake the drain from the vent going out the roof (if vent out roof for washing machine AND have a relatively flat roof) or can snake the drain from a cleanout associated with the washing machione drain line (if have basement check there for a cleanout just under the laundry area... if in basement, should be a cleanout right there).

If going from the roof you will definitely need the medium cable machine... OH! And make sure to purchase a pair of LEATHER gloves AND GOGGLES as you did use drano in the drain line!!

Let me know if you have any more questions on this... MARK

Rinse cycle not operating correctly [ 1 Answers ]

The washing machine is a whirlpool about 12 yrs old. When it gets to the rinse cycle, the water only trickles out. What would keep water from flowing in at the beginning of the rinse cycle. The water supply hoses are new, so I'd appreciate any insight into this problem.
