    Monitor says "no signal"
My computer goes on all right, I see lights on the boards are on. While it is running there is a beeping sound that sounds off intermittently. My Monitor shows "no signal" then goes black.I should mention that it did happen before, off and on. Thanks for any help!

the beeps or sequences of beep (like morris code) is the motherboard informing you events successful and failures occurred while booting. Definition of code sequences are specific to its motherboard. They are listed and defined in your manual that came w/ your computer.Or go to system info /motherboard info Note manufacturer + model # go to web site or computers makers w/s. vid card error my guess. Make sure vid card is fully and evenly inserted W/COMPUTER OFF! check display connect to vid card.reboot good luck Note:More info=faster/ Better ANSWERS i.e.. 486,P3,Dell Dimension w/on board video & sound & last thing I remember doing before by problem occurred I moved system to another location. Something like that! Anyway,Good luck , hope this help you.
