    Aireyana's fear of the vacuum
OK so also I have a 1 year old child scared of the vacuum I don't mean like hurry s away from it I mean she SLAMS her head on the flood pulls her hair screams the top of her lungs crawls as fast as she can almost getting up and running (she can't walk yet) I do it whall she's asleep and she wakes up doing the same thing I literally have to send her upstairs with my neighbors 13 year old daughter whall I vacuum my house!! Is there any way maybe I can help her realize its okay? Or a vacuum that's quiet maybe? I have a dirtdevil.
(the darn thing doesn't even have to be turned on!! )

    Awwww, poor baby...
I think with something like this, I would just not have it out and/or just vacuum when she is gone. Get a restaurant vacuum... no plugs or anything... no noise, that way you can pick up messes with her around. Awww, poor baby!

Rubber maid makes this one, and they work pretty well!

Haha thank you. Yeah my apartment is kind of tight for space and I have to put the vacuum under my bed. I hope she doesn't grow up thinking it's a monster!! Never thought of the restaurant vacuum before! Walmart has them hopefully right?

Yes, they do. Then she can be the happy girl she wants to be! Poor baby;)
You know a lot of people would tend to say, aww, she will get used to it, or let her help, I do not agree. I am deathly afraid of sharks, please do not put me in a ocean with one... LOL I know she may get over this at some point but there is just no point in making her;)
    Walmart... go there LOL

Best vacuum cleaner? [ 2 Answers ]

I am thinking about buying a new vacuum cleaner and would like a recommendation on one that you have found to be good at really suctioning up the dirt. Price is not a factor.
