Breast discharge, other weird symptons. Been to doctors and had test
    Hi,

Three years ago I spontaneously had this greenish/black fluid discharge come out of my nipples, yes bilaterally. I've had my prolactin levels checked-normal, many mamo's and ultrasounds (I've had fibrocystic disease and "dense" tissue for 15 yrs to my knowledge via mamo’s) and all the blood work comes back normal, always. My thyroid is fine too. My pituitary gland looked OK a couple years ago as well, I had an MRI of my brain for nerve issues in my left arm (I told them about the discharge at that time) and I assume if my pituitary looked weird they would have noticed it.

Also two and a half years ago after my boyfriend of three yrs abruptly moved away (without mention to me until immediately before leaving) I had a period for a month. I thought perhaps it was the stress but I went to the doc anyway. I had a pelvic exam, an ultrasound, blood work and again every thing looked normal with the exception that I have high estrogen levels (he didn't mention estrogen dominance, so not sure it I have that or what). Anyway the doctor put me on progesterone. I had light break through bleeding on that so like instructed I went to see the doc again. He suggested a hysterectomy or ablation of my uterus. I said NFW, not for one month of bleeding which was two months prior at that point. I suggested increasing the progesterone for a short time to see what it did. So the doc did it and warned me the pharmacist would question me on what the high dose was for, which they did. Long story shorter I haven't had a normal period since. There have been two episodes (November of 06 and July of 07) when I had a brownish, almost discharge like period/spot, literally a spot.

Also I came to discover while removing a black head that there are some dark spots on my face that will produce this same colored greenish/black fluid.

I have been to three different doctors and not one of them has a clue. The only thing one doctor was worried about was my hip impedes having sex and sent me to an ortho doctor who didn't even touch my hip and sent me to someone else cause I have pain in multiple joints. The Rheumatologist didn't think I had RA like the ortho doc suspected. I am so damn frustrated, so most of the time I just try to ignore it.

I have virtually no sex drive and it sucks. I am only 42 and feel like my sex life is over and am concerned about this discharge.

I know no one here can diagnose me or anything, but does anyone have info on perhaps heavy metal or some other toxicity and cleansing or any ideas at all? I don't know what's wrong and I don't have to $$ for an alternative practitioner. It is ruining my relationship too because of the sexual aspects. HELP!

I'm sorry. It might be some sort of cancer... I don't mean to scare you. Or it migt just be a lot of stress

I'd would think the doctor's and numerous mamograms would have shown something.

I'm surprised you have not received an authoritative and definitive response yet. So, curious, I Googled your condition, and founds lots of info regarding your symptoms:

Nipple discharge: Rarely a sign of serious disease - MayoClinic.com
Breast Health: Why Do I Have Green and Yellow Nipple Discharge?
Ask An Expert: When is Nipple Discharge a Concern?

Perhaps you need to expand your physician pool. Why don't you contact one of the sites and ask for a referral or a way to contact a semi-local doctor that may have more experience in this area.

OK, don't get worked up. I am scared of the doctor at times as well. Im not trying to make you upset, I'm just trying to get all the facts. How old are you? You are right, typically women don't start having steady mammograms until they are mid 30s-40s. I was just asking, because I would have...
