Unhappy with lipo results, can I get my money back?
I had smart lipo performed on my abdomen area and inner thighs in March 07, I had little results and went back to the dr. She then decided to perform vaser lipo on those areas. This was in Oct 07. This time she did remove some fat, and there is a difference however I am left with an uneven abdomen, it's lumpy with pockets of fat and what she called, a donut around my navel, she referred to this as she was working on that area saying that she didn't want me to be left with that. Well I was. On my inner thighs I have an area that looks caved in. She didn't leave me with a smooth contoured look. I am extremely unhappy with my results. I haven't contacted her yet about it. I don't want to go back to her for more touchups. I have decided to get a tummy tuck from a different dr. I have spent $11,000. I would like to get some or all of my money back. She is in Az and I live in Id. Is it worth my time to contact a lawyer and attempt to be reimbursed?

I would look in to it, but most plastic surgeons cover themselves by making you sign a release, that release probably states that results may vary and that there are risks and that you agree to take those risks. I would check anything that you signed prior to the surgery to see if it is beneficial to contact a lawyer. This is just my opinion, I'm not an expert on the law.

    Good Luck.

Absolutely and you have to prove some sort of negligence on the part of the Doctor and not all outcomes are a result of negligence.

I would consult with an Attorney but I don't know if you have a case or, if you do, just what your damages are. Becomes an issue of before and after and which is worse...

    Eleven Thousand Dollars? Wow!

This is hard to prove, and hard to evaluate the damage in $$, plus the release you signed before the procedures, etc.
I don't think you can do much and most of all, attorney fee could cost you another $11,000 or more.
