Can anyone tell me how complicated replacing a timer on a kenmore elite 70 series is, or would be. Thanks a million

Is your dryer a touch pad or a knob? Remove the knob by pulling towards you. The knob shaft goes directly into the timer so you can see the part to remove. You should buy the replacement aprt in advance so you can see the attachment method.
