I have a very important question, I had a lapdance at a strip bar with a very hot lady a few months back.

Its probably nothing to worry about, you yourself said you had an erection a few hours after the lapdance, I wouldn't worry, unless it happens again!

I find this weird though.. I even got to touch her... but nothing... Is this due to Booze? I had a few drinks before that night...

Could have been the booze - Doubt that ED is a factor, that's from experience - Was the lap dance public or private? If public, might be that your subconcious doesn't like the idea of a public performance.

It's not always going to perform the way you want it to. I agree it is doubtful there is a actual problem. Try again.

Short answer is at this time you shouldn't be too afraid. You had an erection later. But there are things, some of which have been mentioned, that you should know about ED.

A few drinks can absolutely change your ability to have and maintain an erection... though a beer or two might not always though you off... and sometimes a drink can help you relax and lose your inhibitions. Sometimes a little too much can curse you. I had an great sexual relationship with a girl in college, but the first time we had sex wed plowed through a bottle of wine. Lets just say my performance was less than stellar. Made up to her later... but I quickly got that a little too much might keep you from getting a little something.

Other things like smoking, high blood pressure, diabetes, stress can too. Just being tired after a long day or stressful day can affect this. Generally the healthier you are, the better your chances.

And mentally you also need to be connected. You were in a moment of highly erotic stimulation, but that doesn't necessarily mean your mind was perfectly ready. Again, things like stress can cause this.

Also, some may disagree with me here, but I think limiting your exposure to lots of sexual stimulation outside the bedroom with a partner (porn, strip clubs, masturbation) is good. Yes... all of those things CAN contribute to a healthier sex life... I didn't say eliminate them all, but in excess they can distract you and leave you less prepared physically and mentally.

So the world isn't crashing down. You are likely fine. The alcohol probably played a role in it. If it happens more often, then we can talk about ED.

I don't think the lap dance turns you on. It is the connection with someone that will turn you on. The fantasy is nice, butyou don't want the fake, superficial connection. You want the real thing, someone that desires you. Then you will have no issues in the erection department. Give yourself some credit, your soul desires more. There is nothing wrong with you!!

Personally, I think its due to being out in public... sporting a woody with other people around is subconsciously not cool to most guys. Personally the few times I go to a strip club I don't sport wood. And I have no trouble what-so-ever getting it up when I want it up. And you don't need a stiffy to enjoy the show. Unless you are trying to do far more than a lap dance.

I am not sure if this is the answer but here is an observation.

My husband will often go to the strip club to hang out with the guys (and I have attended on a number of occasions). What I have found is that some men are made uncomfortable by the social scene, by the fact that it is objectifying women, and that they are just plain uncomfortable with the setting. However, if given the same girl in a different situation (in a bedroom, by themselves) they could perform just fine.

Could be booze, could be that you really are not morally OK with the strip club scenario. Unlikely to be a health issue at all.
