    GFCIs required?
    I am wiring a 40' x 68' barn/shop, rated as residential with a 200 amp service.
It is being used to store a couple of boats and trailers in the winter, with a shop to work in.
Do all the receptacles in the building need to be GFCI protected?
    Thank you, Guy

I would think not, but the best thing to do would be to check your local code. Most decent sized cities now have that information online.

Garages, and also accessory buildings that have a floor located at or below grade level not intended as habitable rooms and limited to storage areas, work areas, and areas of similar use shall have GFCI protected receptacles.
