As stated above, there are 4 safety switches on this zero turn mower. Seat, left and right control arms, and the brake handle.

I will not address the technical aspects of this question. You really don't want to do that!!
If for any reason you fall off that seat, those safety switches immediately kill the engine and stop the blades from turning. In turn, this keeps you from losing various parts of you body to spinning blades.
DO NOT DO THIS!!
Can explain why this is a good idea? I don't think it's wise at all.
Only time you would want to do that is for Troubleshooting, even then you have to be Extra Aware of the Dangers, and Hazzards. They are for Safety, They protect you or others, They could do a lot of Damage on a Body, or Someone Else's. Would be an easy Lawsuit if Someone else lost their Life or Limb(s) Good Luck. I understand some are a Pain or Inconvenient.
