I have a Keeprite mid-efficiency furnace that's just over 11 years old. I just had my central air conditioner replaced with a Keeprite (seer 13) air conditioner. The furnace runs fine during the winter but when I went to turn on the a.c. the furnace blower motor works but the a.c. unit doesn't turn on. I switched the fan control to "auto" and the temperature switch to "cool" and I varied the temperature on the thermostat but the a.c. still doesn't come on. Any suggestions?

Disconnect not turned to ON, Contactor, wire to contactor, bad start capacitor, thermostat, start with those items. Will require a basic understanding of how things work and also how to test.
