How is the attic ventilated? (Generally, soffits let air in under the overhangs, and draws air up to a vent or vents: gable, ridge, or small square ones on the roof slope, either passive or electric).
Is there a vapor barrier between the ceiling and the insulation between the floor joists?
Is there anything done wrong, such as insulation in the soffits or stuffed between rafters?
Are there multiple sources of moisture from below that don't have any venting out (showers, kitchen, dryer)?
