    Shower mixer low pressure
    Hi
I had an over bath shower installed upstairs in my house. At the time I had a low pressure water tank. I later had a mains (high) pressure tank installed. Now the shower only runs hot water. Could this be fixed with the installation of a new shower mixer specifically for mains pressure? If so is this an easy enough job to do?
    Thanks

I would first turn main incoming water to the house OFF, remove the cartridge from shower faucet and turned water ON for few seconds to see if you have cold water coming all the way to that shower. You may have debris inside the body or cartridge itself. Also, some faucets have "stops" ( valves at the rough body ). Cold water valve may be in closed position. If you getting water all the way to the faucet, but not through the faucet, and stop-valve is in open position - than cartridge could be the culprit.

    Hope that helps
