There’s a guy in my college. Though he is from department we have never been in the same class. So I haven’t talked to him. He just looks directly at my eyes whenever I see him somewhere. He is good looking, a lot of girls in my college like him. I was not interested in him at first and I’m not looking for a relationship as of now. But lately whenever I bump into him, I feel like my chest tightens but it’s just for like 2 or 3 seconds. Why do I feel like that? Does it mean I like him? Kindly help me because I have never had a crush before and don’t know what it feels like.also is he interested in me?if so why hasn't talked to me yet?

It is a reaction to you, your body is liking this fellow. Your mind on the other hand isn't too fond of the idea give your current situation. It could be the beginnings of a crush I think. It is okay to have, but it is up to you to decide what to do with it. I don't think you should really do anything considering what you said, but college is a learning time and a lot of that learning isn't in a class room.

Crushes are normal, and sounds like YOU do have an attraction, but you seem inexperienced at what you should do about it. I don't know if the guy likes you, or is targeting you for your body and nothing else. The thing to do though is just be a cool until you know more about this fellow. Chatting and relating as a good human or just saying high and exchanging names without getting carried away usually let's you get to know a person. That's my advice, find out something about the object of your crush/attraction and see how you feel without just giving your heart away for what seems your FIRST crush.

Learning how to relate to males can be a great experience if you keep your wits about you and pay attention with your head and not just because you have strong feelings you never had before. It's just normal human hormones for now.

Means very little about the guy, because neither you or your friends can know what he is looking at (Or THINKING) when you are not watching him. Your friends think he is a nice guy, and that's a plus but not etched in stone. I mean how well do they know him, and how? Could be the case they only know about as much as you do?

I really don't know why, but we all have similar emotional reactions that affects us when we encounter the objects of a crush/attraction. Such things are natural to humans and just another part of ourselves to learn to deal with.

In time you will learn to understand YOUR feelings, and how to best DEAL with them. Be great to have boundaries of good behavior to guide you through this learning experience about how guys affect YOU, and YOUR feelings.

Possibly this nice guy who catches your eyes is as unsure and inexperienced as you are, but you can help you both by smiling and saying HI, and see what happens after that. It's normal and scary to wonder how our crush/attraction feels about us, and really scary when it's the first most intense experience of this kind.

It's also a big thrill too, right? Just use your own good sense to explore and experiment with this situation cautiously, and safely.

If you are considering him for dating, go up to him and talk to him. (wondering means nothing) I for example in most people in the eye when I pass or meet them.

If you are not interested in a relationship, why does it matter, ignore him?
