What can one do to easy the pain of an ear ache after one eats?
For about two hours after I eat anything I have an earache. Please do not say go to doctor I have called TWICE and they did not seem to concerned about it and the doctor never called back. Cannot afford the er or another doctor. I know it is due to the drainage into my throat and the change of weather

You can try over-the-counter meds like Sudafed to help dry up the drainage and Tylenol or Motrin for the pain.

Are you certain this is due to your ear or could it be dental related?

It does not help. I have already tried that. It is inside my ear

You have heard from a nurse, so only alternative is go to a doctor and have your ears blown.

How do you know, what you need, if you really do not know what is causing it.

    1. you do not discuss it over the phone with doctors offfice, you call and set an appointment.
    2. of course they don't call you back, you are even lucky to talk to a nurse when you call in.

I am sorry, but you make an appoint and see the doctor.

You may need a DENTIST. I have had some earaches over my 68 years that doctors were less than worthless about. Turned out to be infected molars.

I have been to the dentist before with this issue and they said it was not my tooth and more then likely drainage or sinus stuff

I don't know what you expect from us. We can't examine you, we can't do tests. We are not doctors. I'm as close as you get, I'm a Registered Nurse, but I can't diagnose you. I gave you the best recommendation you will get.
