I'm trying to figure out what kind of shower drain I have. As you can see it's pretty rusted so trying to see I can replace it or if I have to replace the entire shower What kind of drain is this and can it be replaced? Any help would be greatly appreciated. That lifts and turns to open or close, right? If so, that is actually a roman tub drain assembly someone used for your shower...see image below.

You may actually be able to find a replacement cover. I would suggest that you take your picture to a local plumbing supply showroom and work with a salesperson to see if they can match a replacement part for you! Bring pictures with the drain assembly in both the open and closed positions.
