I have a pain in the lower right side of my back that feels like a side ach all the time. I have had back surgery and have pins in my back so I always just think it is from that but it is so painful espically when I lay down.

Being the wide range of problems capable of causing those symptoms... have you spoken with your doctor yet?

IF it isn't something totally unrelated to the pins, you may find yourself needing a lot of physical therapy, and advice on how to sleep and how to arrange pillows between your knees, etc, what kind of mattress to sleep on (memory foam on a firm base), and how to keep your lower back WARM. Gentle movements throughout the day, never sitting too long, and learning how to sit properly. It's a lifelong process.
