I just bought the Wakefield ceiling fan (40105) yesterday, we still cannot get the remote to operate correctly.
I cannot stop the fan, although I can change speeds.
Also, I cannot get "just" the up lights to come on, worked for a while but now will not do it.
I've changed the dip switches from 0 to 1 and back using the program or Learn/Sync option, but no luck. The Learn seems to take, with light blinking on and off 3 times, but no change in the operation.
Fan is hung on a 12 ft ceiling with a 36 in down rod, no other fan remotes in my house.
Could a new/different remote possibly work to correct my issue?
